3 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Austin Meadows went 2-for-4 with a triple, a home run, four RBI and two runs scored in a 7-2 win over the Royals on Thursday. It was Meadows' sixth homer this month, as he is now slashing .222/.325/.483 with 10 home runs, 33 RBI and 27 runs scored over 47 games. Meadows has been streaky at the plate this season, with Thursday's performance snapping a 1-for-15 skid he had been mired in over his past four games. While the cold stretches that he'll have will drive managers crazy, when he's on he'll be a good source of home runs and RBI in any format.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
