4 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Austin Meadows went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and a walk in the Rays' 10-5 win over the New York Yankees on Friday. Through the first seven games of the season, Meadows has posted a .269/.367/.577 slash line with two home runs and two RBI in 26 at-bats. Meadows is looking to rebound in 2021 after a poor 2020 campaign which included a run-in with COVID-19 and other injuries including an oblique strain. Now healthy, Meadows has the upside to replicate his first full season in Tampa Bay (2019) in which he hit .291 with 33 HR, 89 RBI, 83 runs, and 12 steals. Meadows should remain active in all formats as an OF2 with a high ceiling.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
