4 years agoSan Diego Padres catcher Austin Nola (hand) is back in Saturday's lineup against the San Francisco Giants. Nola was nailed in his left hand Friday night and X-rays came back negative. He'll bat eighth while being in the squat for starter Joe Musgrove. The 31-year-old backstop missed April with a fractured finger and has two hits and two RBI in 14 plate appearances since returning. Avoiding another major injury is positive news for Friar fans and fantasy managers as Nola could emerge as a top offensive catcher once he gets going.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
