3 years agoSan Diego Padres catcher Austin Nola isn't in the lineup on Sunday. Nola will start the game on the bench as the Padres take on the Arizona Diamondbacks and right-handed starter Zac Gallen. The catcher is batting .292 with a .393 on-base percentage and a home run in 107 plate appearances so far this season. He'll be replaced by Victor Caratini, who is hitting seventh against Gallen. Caratini is batting .227 with a .318 on-base percentage, six home runs, and two stolen bases in 280 plate appearances for San Diego this year.
