2 years agoAtlanta Braves third baseman Austin Riley is being added to the National League All-Star team. With a season slash line of .282/.345/.568 to go along with a .913 OPS, 26 home runs, 60 RBI, 53 runs scored, a league-leading 201 total bases and two stolen bases in 391 plate appearances over 90 games, Riley had been one of, if not the biggest, All-Star snub heading into next week's Midsummer Classic. That's no longer the case. He's been on an absolute tear at the plate in the month of July, going 25-for-62 (.403) with a whopping eight home runs, 17 RBI and 13 runs scored in 15 games played. The 25-year-old is just two home runs behind Kyle Schwarber for the NL lead in long balls.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
