Austin Riley Reinstated From Paternity List
3 years agoThe Atlanta Braves reinstated third baseman Austin Riley from the paternity list on Friday. Also, right-hander Jesse Chavez reported to the Braves and was added to the active roster after being acquired from the Chicago Cubs earlier this week. Riley ended up missing just one game for Atlanta, and he should be back in the starting lineup on Friday against Miami Marlins left-hander Trevor Rogers. The 25-year-old has been swinging a hot stick to begin the season, going 14-for-48 with two home runs, six RBI, eight runs scored and the first stolen base of his major league career in 13 games played. Fantasy managers will want to get Riley back into their starting lineups on Friday.
