Austin Riley Still Recovering From Knee Sprain
6 years agoAtlanta Braves third base prospect Austin Riley is still recovering from a sprained right knee that sent him to the disabled list on June 3. It's a shame for fantasy owners and Riley, as he was inching closer to a big league promotion. Riley has hit .308 with 10 home runs and 38 RBI in 201 at-bats over 53 combined games between Double-A and Triple-A. Riley is expected to miss several weeks and will still need to recover, which could jeopardize his debut in 2018. Riley has added power to his game this year and is a strong candidate to open 2019 as the Braves starting third baseman. Riley should be owned in dynasty leagues, and owners in redraft leagues should keep an eye on him in case he makes his debut later this summer.
