3 years agoChicago Cubs catcher Austin Romine went 2-for-3 with a solo home run in Game 1 of Wednesday's doubleheader versus the Colorado Rockies. Romine took Austin Gomber yard in the bottom of the fourth inning to tie the game at 2-2 at the time. Romine has been hurt by injuries this year and has only had 29 at-bats for the season. With Willson Contreras (knee) nearing a return and Robinson Chirinos being more productive at the plate, Romine's future could be cloudy moving forward.
