3 years agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder Austin Slater (wrist) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Monday. The team called up outfielder Stuart Fairchild to take Slater's spot on the big league roster. Slater injured his left wrist in Sunday's game and apparently did not show enough progress to convince the Giants to leave him off of the injured list. Slate is hitting .250 with two homers, 12 runs, 11 RBI, and two steals across 64 at-bats in 2022.--Matt T - RotoBaller
