6 years agoToronto Maple Leafs center Auston Matthews and defenseman Jake Muzzin were determined to avoid a third consecutive loss on Friday, as both scored twice when the team pulled out a 7-6 victory from a three-goal deficit against Philadelphia. Muzzin had three points in total, bagging a power-play assist on a Patrick Marleau goal. Frederik Andersen's save percentage was below .800 for a third consecutive game, but he ended up with a victory this time around to improve his record to 34-14-4.
