6 years agoToronto Maple Leafs centers Auston Matthews and John Tavares each registered a goal, an assist and a plus-two rating in Wednesday's 4-2 road victory against the Buffalo Sabres. The dynamic duo also combined for 13 of the team's 45 shots on net against Carter Hutton. Matthews registered four goals with seven points, a plus-6 rating and 20 shots on goal in the four meetings with the Sabres, while Tavares posted three goals, seven points and a plus-6 rating with 17 SOG in the four meetings with Buffalo.
