3 years agoToronto Maple Leafs center Auston Matthews produced his first multi-goal outing of the season in Tuesday's 4-0 home win against Vegas, scoring twice in the second period. He got things started with a power-play goal and finished the night with six shots, two blocks and one hit. It was a big effort from Matthews, who's had a slow start to the campaign with only three goals and four points in seven appearances. We can expect him to start making up for lost time in the upcoming weeks, with the team looking much better in recent outings and starting to get going.
