5 years agoToronto Maple Leafs forward Auston Matthews added two more goals to his stat line this season, bringing the total to five in his first three games. Matthews scored the first goal of the game for Leafs, before adding another to tie the game at 5-5 with 1:15 left in the third period. The young centreman has lived up to his hefty contract so far this season, which will be important with four of their top players taking up half of the salary cap. With this hot start, it isn't that crazy to think that Matthews could be in line for his first career 50-goal season. --Nate Duffett
