4 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Avisail Garcia (back) exited Friday's contest due to back tightness, according to MLB.com's Adam McCalvy. Garcia lined out in his only plate appearance of the day, and he was then replaced on defense in the third inning. Manager Craig Counsell said that Garcia had work done on his back during the game, and the team is optimistic he'll be fine. Garcia has shown improvement at the plate early on from his 2020 performance, as he is now slashing .222/.296/.397 with three home runs and 10 RBI in 16 games.
