7 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Avisail Garcia (hamstring) has been placed on the 10-day disabled list with a strained right hamstring. Garcia hurt his hamstring running to first base Monday night and left in the bottom of the second inning. Outfielders Trayce Thompson and Leury Garcia will take over for Garcia. Leury Garcia offers more upside than Thompson, but both are better suited on the waiver wire outside of very deep leagues. Outfielder Daniel Palka will take the roster spot of Garcia and can be avoided in all formats.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
