Avisail Garcia, Ryan Braun To Split Time In Right Field

4 years agoMilwaukee Brewers manager Craig Counsell said that outfielders Avisail Garcia and Ryan Braun will share time in right field this year, with Braun also playing some first base. Christian Yelich will move from right field to left field in 2020. Braun, 36, managed to play in 144 games for Milwaukee last year, hitting .285 with 22 home runs, 75 RBI and 11 stolen bases. Garcia, 28, hit a nice .282 with a career-high 20 home runs, 72 RBI and 10 steals in 125 games in his only season with Tampa. Both players are attractive for their power and modest speed, but their ceiling will be limited with part-time playing time.
