5 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Avisail Garcia will start and hit cleanup as the team will try and extend the ALDS against the Astros. Garcia powered a home run against the A's in the Wild Card play-in game and singled and scored twice in the Rays Game 3 win. Garcia has played his best baseball at home this season, slashing .296/.359/.535 in 60 regular season home games. The Rays are banking on Garcia to provide a charge of power to the middle of the lineup but he has struggled against the Astros Justin Verlander throughout his career. In 34 lifetime at-bats, Garcia is hitting only .235 against him with two doubles and zero home runs.--Joey C - RotoBaller
