Avoid Jaime Garcia Against Atlanta On Tuesday
6 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Jaime Garcia will need to start pitching better if he’s to keep his rotation spot, but we don’t expect that to happen on Tuesday against the Atlanta Braves. Garcia hasn’t been very good all year, and in his last start in an advantageous matchup against the Tampa Bay Rays on June 12, Garcia was hit to the tune of four runs across five innings pitched. He’s allowed a minimum of four runs in two of his last three starts, three of his last five, and five of his last seven. We'll probably be adding another to the list as he takes on the Braves and their elite offense. There’s really no reason any fantasy owner should be putting any sort of faith into Garcia.
