Back-To-Back Missed Practices For Braxton Berrios
3 years agoNew York Jets wide receiver Braxton Berrios (quadriceps) missed his second straight day of practice on Thursday. The Jets have been optimistic that Berrios can play in Week 18 against the Buffalo Bills, but he'll likely need to practice in some form on Friday in order to play in the regular season finale on Sunday. With New York lacking any real playmaking ability at the receiver position the last two weeks with Jamison Crowder (calf) out, Berrios has seen 18 targets, turning them into 13 catches for 102 yards and a touchdown. He's added three carries for 15 yards and a touchdown. But now he's questionable to play, Crowder is on track to end his two-game absence. Berrios is turning into a risky WR3/flex in a tough matchup with Buffalo.
