3 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Bailey Ober picked up his third win of the season Friday against the Blue Jays. Ober pitched 5 1/3 innings, allowing one run on four hits while striking out six batters with no walks issued. The lone blemish n an otherwise sparkling outing was a solo homer to Marcus Semien. The 26-year-old mixed his pitches very well, spreading out 11 swinging strikes over his four offerings. Ober has had some rough outings in September- but this was a very encouraging start for the end of this year. Ober has almost certainly earned himself a spot in the Minnesota rotation in 2022.--Tim Capurso
