2 years agoThe Minnesota Twins placed starting pitcher Bailey Ober (groin) on the injured list on Monday. Ober was on the injured list earlier this year with a right groin strain and had made three starts since returning. The Twins also signed right-hander Aaron Sanchez to a minor league deal and assigned him to Triple-A. Ober will miss at least a couple of turns through the Twins rotation with another groin strain. The 26-year-old right-hander hasn't been very sharp of late and is now sporting a 4.01 ERA and 1.28 WHIP on the season while walking seven and striking out 29 in 33 2/3 innings over his first seven starts of the year for Minnesota.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
