Bailey Ober Takes Hard-Luck Loss
3 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Bailey Ober took his second loss of the season Tuesday despite a strong effort, allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits and no walks in six innings against Cleveland. Ober has steadily improved as his season has gone along, with a 2.76 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, and 14 strikeouts in 16 1/3 innings across three August starts. With a 4.38 ERA on the season, some fantasy managers may not be aware of the potential value here. He's worth a pickup off the waiver wire in good matchups.
