Baker Mayfield A QB2 In Week 7

4 years agoCleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield (ribs) is expected to be able to suit up for Week 7's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Mayfield was pulled early from a blowout loss vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 6 to protect his injured ribs. Head coach Kevin Stefanski has already told reporters that Mayfield will be the team's starter if he is healthy. Provided he is able to play, fantasy gamers can treat Mayfield as a low-end QB2 for his Week 7 contest. Cincinnati's pass defense has been decent this season, ranking 16th in DVOA and allowing the 11th-fewest fantasy points per game. Fantasy managers in one-quarterback leagues should be able to find a better option for Week 7's slate of games.--Matt T - RotoBaller
