3 years agoWith the first round of the NFL draft coming on Thursday night, Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield is drawing more trade interest from a handful of teams. The Carolina Panthers are one of those teams, and the Seattle Seahawks might be another. A couple of unnamed teams could come forward, depending on how the draft plays out heading into Saturday's second round. The Panthers have the No. 6 overall pick on Thursday night, but if they pass on a signal-caller or trade down and don't take a QB in the first round, Mayfield will become a real possibility to be acquired by Carolina in order to compete for the starting job with Sam Darnold this summer. Mayfield had a rough 2021 season while dealing with a torn labrum in his left shoulder for most of the year, causing the Browns to move on and trade for Deshaun Watson.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
