3 years agoCleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield (shoulder) is "intent" on playing Thursday's game against the Denver Broncos with a "completely torn labrum" in his left shoulder. He was limited in Tuesday's practice and is expected to play Thursday. The former No.1 overall pick aggravated his shoulder injury in a Week 6 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. He has thrown for 1,474 passing yards, only six touchdowns, and three interceptions over six games in 2021. The 26-year-old will eventually need surgery on his ailing shoulder but will continue to play through the injury. Mayfield will be without his top two RBs, Kareem Hunt (calf) and Nick Chubb (calf), making him mainly an option in Two-QB/Superflex league formats in Week 7.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
