3 years agoCleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield is expected to remain under center next season. The former Oklahoma Sooner had the worst year as a professional during the 2020-21 campaign, and he had a career-low 17 touchdowns for 3,010 yards. While the signal-caller can't take all of the blame, primarily with injuries and COVID-19 designations on the offensive end along with the mid-season departure of Odell Beckham Jr., he may have one more shot to prove his worth. Nonetheless, It's far too early to tell what his outlook will be next season, especially since he will undergo left shoulder surgery within the next few weeks.
