3 years agoCleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield is among the QB options for the Carolina Panthers this offseason, but he's not the only guy on their list. His $18.8 million salary for this season, which is the same as Sam Darnold, is another issue for Carolina. If the Panthers were to trade for Mayfield, the Browns would have to eat some of Mayfield's salary. The former No. 1 overall pick in 2018 could also be an option for the Seattle Seahawks, although they did just re-sign Geno Smith. Mayfield would battle Darnold for the starting job if he were to land in Carolina, but fantasy managers shouldn't be considering him as anything more than a low-end QB2 if he's starting games in 2022.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
