2 years agoCarolina Panthers quarterback Baker Mayfield completed nine of 15 passes for 89 yards and two touchdowns in Friday's 21-0 preseason win over the Buffalo Bills. Mayfield, who was officially named the Panthers' Week 1 starter earlier this week, played on four drives in the first half and made some impressive throws. With rookie Matt Corral (foot) out for the season and Sam Darnold (ankle) carted off with an injury of his own, Mayfield's status as the team's QB1 feels secure at the moment. He should be considered a low-end QB2 for fantasy and is probably only worth drafting in superflex formats.--Jorden Hill - RotoBaller
