6 years agoThe Baltimore Ravens defense will look to bounce back against the Carolina Panthers in Week 8. The Ravens are likely still reeling from surrendering 17 fourth-quarter points in their 24-23 loss to the Saints last week. While giving up two fourth-quarter touchdowns, which was the first time that opponents have reached the end zone in the second half against Baltimore, had to be painful for the league's No. 1 defense, the bigger issue was that the Saints converted four of five fourth-down plays and they turned three of four red-zone opportunities into touchdowns. The 24 points are the second most that the Ravens have allowed this season. Still, they are ranked No. 1 in the league in scoring defense, total defense as well as sacks. "They're very good at all three levels. They're fast, they're big, they're aggressive," said Panthers tight end Greg Olsen. "They have a scheme that they really believe in. ... They've been doing this a long time under [John] Harbaugh, and they're very good at it." The Ravens defense is a must-start in all fantasy leagues.--Daniel Benjamin
