7 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Bartolo Colon said that he would like to return to the team next season. However, the 45-year-old won't be an appealing option for the Rangers, as he is 7-12 with a 5.55 ERA on the year, which is the second highest ERA in the majors. Colon has allowed the most home runs (30) this year. Big Sexy is also 5-10 with a 7.04 ERA in his last 17 starts since late May. As much as we'd all like to see Colon stick around, not many teams will probably want him on their major league roster. Texas might choose to bump Colon from the rotation for the final few weeks, too, in order to get a look at right-hander Adrian Sampson.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
