Bears Not Shopping Robert Quinn
3 years agoContrary to a prior report, a source confirmed that the Chicago Bears are not looking to deal veteran pass-rusher Robert Quinn. The soon-to-be 32-year-old expressed some uncertainty in his status in an interview, but the team does not appear to be actively shopping him at this time. While this contradicts a previous report, that does not necessarily mean the team is not listening to potential offers. The Bears have several holes to fill, particularly on the offensive side of the ball, and Quinn could bring a lot of value in a trade, either for established starters or for draft capital. He had an outstanding season last year, notching 18.5 sacks, second only to Pittsburgh defensive end T.J. Watt. The Bears finished 2021 sixth in total defense but 24th in total offense.
