Bears Release Nathan Peterman
2 years agoThe Chicago Bears released quarterback Nathan Peterman on Tuesday, according to a source. However, the Bears plan on bringing him back on their practice squad. As of right now, the Bears only have starter Justin Fields and veteran Trevor Siemian in their QB room. Peterman, originally a fifth-round selection of the Buffalo Bills in 2017, has played in 10 games (four starts) in his four NFL seasons. It hasn't gone very well for the 28-year-old, as he's gone 71-for-135 (52.6 percent) for 573 yards, three touchdowns and a whopping 12 interceptions for the Bills and Las Vegas Raiders.
