Ben Bishop Receives Very Little Offensive Support
6 years agoDallas Stars goaltender Ben Bishop allowed three goals on 23 shots in Monday's 4-1 loss on the road against the Ottawa Senators. He bounced back somewhat after letting in six goals in his most recent appearance Oct. 9 against the Toronto Maple Leafs, but he still wasn't pinpoint. The offense provided him with just one goal of support, by far this lowest total of the season. He entered the day 2-1-0 with a 2.34 goals-against average and .924 save percentage while the Dallas offense was averaging 4.0 goals per game during his first three starts. It hasn't been confirmed, but Anton Khudobin is likely to give Bishop a break Tuesday night in New Jersey.
