3 years agoPittsburgh Pirates outfielder Ben Gamel went 2-for-4 with a home run, one RBI and two runs scored in an 11-2 loss to the Brewers on Saturday. It was his third home run in his last seven games, as he is now slashing .292/.346/.708 with four RBI and six runs scored in that span. After struggling early on this season, it looks like he might be starting to figure things out at the plate, but his value is still very limited. Managers in deeper NL-only leagues may want to take a look at him while he's swinging a hot bat.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
