Ben Roethlisberger A Low-End QB1 In Week 1
4 years agoPittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will take the field on Sunday for the first time since he injured his throwing elbow in Week 2 last season. The Steelers will open the year by taking on the New York Giants on the road in a prime matchup for the passing attack. Roethlisberger comes with some question marks as he hasn't played in a while and is entering his age-38 season but he certainly draws a plus opponent to allow him to shake off the rust as the Giants were very leaky against the pass in 2019. The last time Big Ben played a full season, he attempted 675 passes in 2018 but it is hard to say whether the Steelers will be as pass-heavy in 2020. For now, consider Roethlisberger a low-end QB1 for his Week 1 matchup.
