Ben Roethlisberger Dealing With Left Pectoral Injury
3 years agoPittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (pectoral) did not come out of the team's Week 2 defeat to Las Vegas unscathed. Roethlisberger is dealing with a left pectoral injury which head coach Mike Tomlin said will cause a disruption in his ability to prepare for the Week 3 showdown with Cincinnati. While, at this stage, it doesn't sound like Roethlisberger's availability is in question, he sounds far from 100 percent healthy. Mason Rudolph would likely be next in line for the Steelers should Roethlisberger miss snaps, but Dwayne Haskins presents an interesting option for the team, as well. Roethlisberger carved up the Bengals defense last season in their lone meeting in Pittsburgh, slinging 333 passing yards and four touchdowns. Check back throughout the week to get updates on his status as it becomes available.
