6 years agoPittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger thinks running back James Conner absolutely needs to remain in the game plan when Le'Veon Bell returns from his holdout in Week 8. Conner had 110 rushing yards, 75 receiving yards and two touchdowns in Week 5 and has been great in Bell's absence. “And I will push for James to get as much run as we can because we’ve seen some great things from him in all phases of football. He’s picking up blitzes, he’s catching the ball, he’s running hard and making plays and playing with a passion, so we need to keep using that.” Conner remains a high-end RB2 for however long Bell remains away from the team. His fantasy value will obviously take a hit when Bell returns, but he could still be involved enough to be on the flex radar.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
