Ben Roethlisberger Throws Four Picks In Playoff Loss
4 years agoPittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger struggled in a 48-37 loss to the Cleveland Browns in the wild-card round of the playoffs. Roethlisberger completed 47 of 68 passes for 501 yards, four touchdowns and four interceptions in the stunning upset loss. The Steelers offense got off to a nightmare start in the game, with a poor snap leading to a defensive touchdown for Cleveland's defense on the very first play of the game. The veteran quarterback will be 39 years old at the start of the 2021 season, and his play tailed off significantly as the past season wore on. He is still under contract through the end of next season and has already stated that he does not intend to retire. The team is also unlikely to cut him, as his release would result in a $22.25 million dead salary cap hit. He is shaping up as a low-end QB2 for fantasy in 2021.
