4 years agoPittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger completed 21 of 32 passes for 229 yards and three touchdowns in a 26-16 win over the New York Giants in Week 1. He also added three rushes for nine yards in the win. Roethlisberger got off to a slow start in his first game action since Week 2 of last season but he knocked off the rust as the game went on. He found JuJu Smith-Schuster for two scores and added a third touchdown to James Washington in the winning effort. The veteran's surgically repaired elbow didn't appear to be an issue in the game as he looked sharp on the field. Roethlisberger will be on the QB1/QB2 borderline in Week 2 in a home matchup against the Denver Broncos.--Matt T - RotoBaller
