Ben Skowronek Catches Four Passes For 25 Yards
2 years agoLos Angeles Rams receiver Ben Skowronek caught four of six targets for 25 yards in the Rams' 31-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills. Skowronek, who is the No. 4 WR on the depth chart, was drafted out of Notre Dame in the seventh round of the 2021 Draft. He was starting in the place of the injured Van Jefferson (knee). He was also targeted more frequently than was big name offseason signing Allen Robinson II. Robinson figures to get more targets later in the season as his chemistry with QB Matthew Stafford improves, and Van Jefferson will eventually be back. Even with the increased opportunity, Skowronek didn't put up starting-caliber numbers against a tough Bills defense. While you may want to keep an eye on him in deep leagues, it is not worth rostering him.
