7 years agoCleveland Indians relief pitcher Ben Taylor was called up from Triple-A to join the big league bullpen. Matt Belisle was designated for assignment in a corresponding move. Taylor was also designated for assignment before Opening Day, but he cleared waivers and had been working out of the bullpen at Triple-A Columbus. He had a 3.48 ERA with a 0.58 WHIP in 10 1/3 innings with a 16:1 strikeout-to-walk ratio and will pitch in middle relief in Cleveland.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
