7 years agoChicago Cubs second baseman/outfielder Ben Zobrist (back) is improving and could be available off the bench on Thursday. Zobrist was scratched from Tuesday’s contest with back tightness. Zobrist missed the beginning of spring training with the same issue and the club is likely to take it easy with the veteran. Zobrist has been off to a nice start but doesn’t see a consistent amount of at-bats to be worth owning in most standard leagues.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
