5 years agoThe Cincinnati Bengals claimed running back Samaje Perine off waivers from the Miami Dolphins on Tuesday. Perine played in seven games for the Bengals and Dolphins last year, running the ball just five times for 16 yards in his lone game in Miami. He'll return to Cincinnati in 2020, where he'll merely be running back depth behind Joe Mixon, Giovani Bernard and Trayveon Williams. The 24-year-old was a fourth-round pick of the Redskins in 2017 and has 188 rushing attempts (175 in his rookie season) for 651 yards (3.5 yards per carry) and just one touchdown in 28 games (eight starts).
