5 years agoWith the 107th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Cincinnati Bengals have drafted Appalachian State linebacker Akeem Davis-Gaither. Davis-Gaither worked with the Bengals staff during the Senior Bowl and Cincinnati had the chance to see the Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Year up close. Davis-Gaither had 101 tackles and five sacks last season and should contribute right away on special teams for Cincinnati, with a chance to come in on passing downs to rush the quarterback. He’ll need to bulk up some to stay on the field for rushing downs.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
