Bengals Offensive Line Has A Tall Task In Super Bowl
3 years agoThe Cincinnati Bengals offensive line going up against Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald and the rest of their defensive line is considered the biggest mismatch in Super Bowl LVI. The Bengals aren't concerned with how they are being viewed heading into Sunday's game against a Rams defensive front that is one of the strongest in the NFL. According to Next Gen Stats, the Rams finished the regular season ranked first in pass-rush win rate, and the Bengals were 30th in pass-block win rate. The Bengals used rookie Jackson Carman and second-year player Hakeem Adeniji on the right side in the AFC Championship, but Carman is nursing a back injury ahead of the Super Bowl. Cincy allowed nine sacks of quarterback Joe Burrow in the Divisional Round against the Tennessee Titans, and Burrow could be in trouble this Sunday if the Rams have their way with the Bengals offensive line.
