7 years agoFree-agent tight end Benjamin Watson agreed to a one-year deal with the New Orleans Saints on Wednesday, according to a source. Watson returns to the team where he spent three years from 2013 to 2015, including catching a career-high 74 passes for 825 yards and six touchdowns in his final season there. He'll reunite with quarterback Drew Brees, although the Saints are now more of a run-first team, and Watson is a little longer in the tooth. Watson can be a decent low-end touchdown-dependent TE1, but he'll probably be better off drafted as a fantasy backup.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
