5 years agoNew York Jets running back Bilal Powell rushed seven times for 15 yards and was not targeted in the passing game Sunday. Powell was being used as a change of pace back spelling starter Le'Veon Bell for a few series, but Powell couldn't get anything going behind a banged-up offensive line. Still, Powell's carries are enough to question if the Jets can lean on Bell as much as they have through the first half of the season. Bell had played well over 90 percent of the team's offensive snaps coming into the game but made it clear today Powell would be the next back to get work if Bell needs to be off the field. Powell won't carry much fantasy appeal on his own, but is the handcuff to own in New York right now.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
