2 years agoKicking off the first main-card bout of 2022 for the UFC on Saturday, Bill Algeo pulled out a unanimous-decision victory (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) over Joanderson Brito. Statistically, Algeo only tallied 59 significant strikes but recorded 112 total strikes. In the takedown department, he was successfully able to land both of his attempts. The close action continued into the final round, but an Algeo takedown in the last minute of action was the key when he took his opponent's back and landed some hard elbows before the end of the fight.--Matt Bricker - RotoBaller
