4 years agoThough the striking numbers were there, Bill Algeo (14-6) suffered a unanimous-decision loss to Ricardo Ramos on Saturday's main card. Algeo was able to land 76 significant strikes (90 total strikes) in 15 minutes of action, but his downfall was the eight takedowns landed on him by Ramos. Algeo had no way of stopping the ground game, which played a huge factor in his loss. Now 1-2 in the UFC, hopefully Algeo will receive a more striker-friendly matchup his next time in the Octagon, giving him a chance to make it up to fantasy managers.--Matt Bricker - RotoBaller
