5 years agoBuffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen had a solid 2019 campaign on paper, but looked completely lost during their playoff loss to the Houston Texans. Head coach Sean McDermott said “most times, how the quarterback goes is how the team goes." Allen threw for 3,089 passing yards with 20 touchdowns and nine interceptions last season. However, his accuracy and decision making are still a question mark going into his third season as the starting quarterback. There's no doubt that Allen has the arm strength and potential to be the captain of this team. However, it's time for him to step up in a big way for Buffalo in 2020.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

3 years agoBuffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen kicks off the season with a matchup against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 1. At first glance, this might look like a difficult challenge for Allen and this offensive unit. However, the Rams allowed 21.9 points per game last season, which ranks them in the middle of the league. Allen has posted over 4,000 passing yards and more than 400 rushing yards in each of the last two seasons. That being said, fantasy managers shouldn't be concerned about Allen heading into this matchup. He should continue to be a top tier fantasy quarterback this season.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

3 years agoThe Buffalo Bills have decided to rest quarterback Josh Allen for their final preseason game on Friday against the Carolina Panthers. Allen got some time with the rest of the starters in the team's blowout win over the Denver Broncos last Saturday and looked to be in midseason form, so there's no reason for the Bills to risk him to injury in the preseason finale. Case Keenum and Matt Barkley will split playing time on Friday against Carolina. Allen finished as the QB1 in fantasy last year while throwing for 4,407 yards, 36 touchdowns and 15 interceptions in 17 regular season games, and he also added 763 rushing yards and six more TDs. The 26-year-old should be the first signal-caller off the board in the early rounds of fantasy drafts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

3 years agoBuffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott said that quarterback Josh Allen is going to play in Saturday's preseason game against the Denver Broncos and that most of the starters will play "a healthy amount." Fantasy managers that have already drafted Allen as the likely overall QB1 will be keeping their fingers crossed that he comes out of this one healthy. Although the Bills offense is mostly intact from last season, they'll have a new offensive coordinator in Ken Dorsey. It shouldn't change all that much for the 26-year-old Allen, who finished the 2021 campaign as the QB1 in fantasy with 4,407 passing yards, 36 touchdowns and 15 interceptions, adding 763 rushing yards and six more TDs.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

3 years agoBuffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott said that quarterback Josh Allen won't play in the team's preseason opener against the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday. Even with Ken Dorsey stepping in to replace Brian Daboll as the team's offensive coordinator in 2022, the Bills are comfortable sitting Allen out of the first preseason action. The 26-year-old finished as the QB1 in fantasy football last year by throwing for 4,407 yards, 36 touchdowns and 15 interceptions, adding 763 rushing yards and six touchdowns on 122 rushing attempts. As a result, he should be the first signal-caller to come off the board in the early rounds of your upcoming fantasy drafts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
